Discovered in 1910 on the west coast of Tasmania, Stichtite is named after the manager of the mine.
It's the world’s only Stichtite mine to this day, although it has been found in small quantities around the world.
Naturally, its colours range from pink through lilac to the rich purple colour as we see here.
