Cezanne Still Life With Apples Scarf

'Harmony running parallel to nature'. That's how Paul Cezanne described his painting with its deliberately disjointed perspective, and he then used heavy brushstrokes to create a greater density than would be seen in real life. He was highly influential being called the Father of Modern Art, and the seminal inspiration for Picasso and Matisse among many others.
